Dry Cupping
Dry cupping is an age-old therapy with roots in traditional Eastern medicine, now widely recognised for its effectiveness in relieving muscular tension, improving circulation, and supporting the body’s natural detoxification process.
Specifically designed suction cups are placed on the skin to create a vacuum effect. This gentle suction lifts the soft tissue, encouraging blood flow to the area and stimulating the body’s natural healing processes.
Cupping may leave circular marks or discolouration (similar to bruising) where the cups have been applied — this is completely normal and usually fades within a few days.
Your treatment will include a combination of hands on massage, static and gliding cupping, where the cups are gently moved across the skin to treat larger muscle groups or fascia.
*(Appointments will automatically be booked as 75 minutes – 1 hour massage + 15 minutes extra to allow for preparing and cleaning cups)
Your first appointment will include a consultation and your first tailored massage.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a deeply soothing treatment, perfect for anyone seeking deep muscular relief combined with the penetrating warmth of smooth, heated basalt stones. These stones are placed on key points of the body and used in flowing massage strokes to deliver heat deep into the muscles, easing tension and enhancing circulation.
The heat softens tight muscles more quickly than hands alone, allowing your therapist to work more deeply, yet gently, without the discomfort of firm pressure.

What Happens During a Massage Treatment?
Your massage therapist will start by chatting with you about your current concerns, lifestyle and goals – whether that’s recovery from an injury, stress relief, or maintenance for long-term well-being.
Every session may include

01: Consultation & Assessment
Understanding what’s going on in your body and what you’re hoping to achieve.

02: Hands-on Massage
Tailored techniques to suit your comfort, from deep muscle release to soothing, flowing strokes.

03: Optional Taping
Supportive kinesiology tape may be applied to help muscles recover and reduce strain post-treatment.

04: Aftercare & Recommendations
You may be given simple stretches, strengthening exercises or lifestyle tips to support your results at home. We’ll also advise on the frequency of treatments that would most benefit your body – whether that's a short course for a specific issue or regular massage for ongoing well-being.
What Are the Benefits of Massage?

Pain Relief
Effective for muscle tension, chronic tightness, or aches from daily life or training.

Injury Recovery
Massage can support the healing process by increasing blood flow, reducing inflammation and promoting tissue repair.

Stress Reduction
Relaxation massage calms the nervous system and supports hormonal balance, sleep and mood.

Posture & Performance
By releasing tight areas and supporting alignment, massage helps your body move more freely and efficiently.

Preventative Care
Many of our clients return for regular massage to prevent issues from building up – just like a service for your body!

Is Massage Right for Me?
Massage is suitable for people of all ages and activity levels. We adapt every session to your needs and comfort. Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, coping with stress or tension, or simply want to feel more at ease in your body – massage therapy can help.
If you’re unsure what type of massage is right for you, just ask – we’ll happily guide you.

Massage Recommendations
Massage is most effective when it’s part of a proactive approach to your health and well-being. While a one-off treatment can certainly offer relief, the true benefits often come from a consistent routine that’s tailored to your needs.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply wanting to move and feel better in your body, we’ll work with you to create a plan that suits your lifestyle and goals. For some, that might mean a short course of weekly treatments; for others, a monthly maintenance massage is all they need to stay well.
Your therapist will always offer honest, personalised recommendations based on your progress and priorities.
Massage FAQs
Here are some answer to common question we get asked…
What’s the difference between sports massage and relaxation massage?
Sports massage is a more targeted and deep-tissue approach, aimed at releasing tight muscles, improving mobility and aiding recovery from activity or injury. Relaxation massage uses lighter, flowing strokes to calm the nervous system, reduce stress and promote a general sense of well-being.
Does it hurt?
Do I need to undress fully?
For most massages, you’ll be asked to undress to your underwear or to a level you’re comfortable with. You’ll be fully draped with towels throughout, with only the area being worked on exposed. For taping or exercise-based sessions, wearing or bringing loose-fitting clothing is helpful.
How often should I have a massage?
This depends on your goals. For injury recovery or ongoing muscular issues, weekly or fortnightly sessions may be advised at first. For maintenance or stress relief, many people benefit from a massage every 4–6 weeks. Your therapist will recommend what’s best for you.
Can massage help with chronic pain or old injuries?
Yes. Massage therapy can be incredibly effective for managing long-term muscular issues, postural strain, and old injuries. It works by improving circulation, reducing scar tissue, and restoring movement.
Can I combine massage with chiropractic?
Yes – many of our clients benefit from a combination of care. Massage helps prepare the body for chiropractic, and vice versa, supporting a more holistic and longer-lasting outcome.
